Feb 2015: Ena Maria Aldecoa (voice) was elected jointly with Melanie Bähr (piano) in “Lied-Duo” for the RISING STARS FESTIVAL. They performed works by D. Argento, C. Debussy, H. Holliger and R. Strauss. Also Ena sung the concert aria “Der Liebe himmlisches Gefühl” KV119 accompanied by the Staatsorchester Stuttgart. Link: Interview: Kay Lenck with State Radio SWR.


Oct 2014: The song cycle "Mga Awit Ng Pag-ibig at Pangarap" composed by Michael Dadap tells the story of a young maiden who questions her own feelings of love. One day the beloved has disappeared. This is when she realizes that it had been true love. Lyrics by Nelson Navarro. Recording of the EUROPEAN PREMIERE at Schloss Gottesaue.

Sep 2014: The young up-and-coming German violin talent Ferdinand Ries played himself successfully into the finals of the “Queen Sophie Charlotte Violin Competition 2014” earning him the Special Award "Friedrich Hofmeister". He plays on GARIBALDI which was built from Aged Tone Wood (see also string instrument section).

Sep 2014: Members of the Opera Frankfurt were backbone of an orchestra accompanying Ena Maria Aldecoa with Mozart’s “Exsultate” under the baton of Hans-Georg Dechange. Her impeccable presentation drew enthusiastic applause from the audience as well as thundering acclaim from the orchestra and KammerChor Hofheim.

Aug 2014: Germany’s first piano manufacturer in history Steingraeber & Sons, Bayreuth has nominated Laureate Concert Group their official representative in the Philippines. This piano had been selected by Richard Wagner, Franz Liszt and more recently by musicians like James Levine and Daniel Barenboim. Singapore has already 200. The first in the Philippines will arrive in March 2015.

Jul 2014: Frauenliebe und –leben op.42 was composed by Robert Schumann in 1840 setting the lyrics by Adelbert von Chamisso to music. The song cycle describes the life of a woman’s first love until the death of her husband. Ena Maria Aldecoa is joined in this studio recording by the Cuban pianist Madarys Morgan.

Mar 2014: Finally we managed to get a recording of MANTOVA, a violin that had recently been commissioned by LCG and built from Aged Tone Wood. Igor Tsinman is playing the highly virtuoso piece "Nel cor piu non mi, sento" by Nicolò Paganini.

Jan 2014: Schloss Gottesaue prepared for Mozart’s birthday a very special gift, arias performed in their historic style. Listen to Ena Maria Aldecoa with her furioso "Fra cento affanni a cento" KV88 written during Mozart’s first trip to Milano in 1770, emotionally possibly a prevision of the Queen of the Night 20 years later. The world premiered Cadenza was written by Uwe Kremp.

Sep 2013: Yehudi Menuhin Prize Winner 2012 Ji Eun Anna Lee plays Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. She is currently studying violin with Ana Chumachenco and Don Weilerstein, while attending Harvard College (Cambridge, CT) and studying comparative French and Russian literature.

Jul 2013: A Cremona copy violin (“Garibaldi”) built on order of LCG with our own aged tone wood (patent pending) was played by the young talent Ferdinand Ries who is studying with Prof. Maria Egelhof at the College of Music in Lübeck.
